Nursing Preceptors

If you are a preceptor and have not picked up a preceptor handbook yet, there are copies in the unit 3 team room on the selves. Also, if you have never completed the optional SHA Preceptor Workshop, it is something open to any staff. More information can be found here. 

CNE Updates

PCA Pumps - When the patient is done with their PCA, please unlock the pole clamp when you are removing the medication bag/tubing. Then take the pump off the pole and put it in the dirty service room. Our support staff do not have access to the PCA key and the pump cannot be removed from the pole unless it is unlocked. 

Locker Room Shoe clean-up

The date to clean out the seemingly unused foot ware in the locker rooms has passed. The remaining shoes have been bagged according to the following pictures and are in the PICU tub room 2202 waiting to be claimed until Sept 3, after which they will be sent to a permanent new home.
