Parking Services:
Effective
August 1st
Parking
Services is eliminating the ability to car-pool to the Lot 15 & Stadium
parkade park & ride locations/shuttles. Every Saskatchewan Health Authority
(SHA) employee will be required to scan their SHA prox card when boarding the
shuttle. This will ensure all users who pay for the park & ride service are
the only users riding the shuttle.
Shuttle
drivers will not permit anyone on the shuttle if they do not scan their prox
card/havetheir SHA ID badge verifying that they are an SHA employee.
Anyone
wishing to sign up to park in Lot 15 can do so by visiting the parking office.
If your
prox card signals invalid and you do pay for the park & ride service,
please contact the parking office to have corrected.
Thank you for your understanding on
this
Important information from Environmental
Services:
There is a huge safety hazard to staff
attempting to change out the carts in the basement below.
When a door is open / unlocked it
prevents lockout in the basement:
- Linen
bags can still be dropped down the chute
- The
soiled linen bags are often heavy and come down the chute in a matter of a
couple of seconds
- Staff
may not have enough time to move out of the way of oncoming bag
- The
velocity of the bag coming down the chute has the potential to cause
serious harm or death
- The
electrical panel at the far wall adjacent the chute is evidence of the
extreme force some linen bags are projected from the chute exit
**PLEASE DO NOT PROP OPEN CHUTE DOOR
