PIPD Update August 21, 2026

Thank you, everyone, for another great week! A few updates and reminders:

  • Job postings: There are currently several job postings available, and more will continue to come up as we work through internal movement and position changes. We are excited to see so many of our staff moving into new positions and opportunities!

  • Wound Care: Nursing staff are able to consult Wound Care directly. Please remember to involve them with any patient who has a wound, including burns.

  • First Nations and Métis Health: The team has shared that they would like to be consulted more frequently when appropriate.

  • Representatives rounding on the unit: We now have both First Nations and Métis Health representatives rounding on our floor. When completing admissions, please remember to include a Treaty number or Métis citizenship/registry number when applicable.

  • Shout-out to Melissa! We received some wonderful feedback from a family in Unit 4 who were very impressed with the care and support you provided. Thank you, Melissa, for making such a positive impact!

New Learning to be completed by September 8th.
