College Drive Saskatoon - changes to RUH and JPCH access

As construction continues on the City of Saskatoon’s College Drive – Bus Rapid Transit project, there are some changes in how Royal University Hospital, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, and the Irene & Leslie Dubé Centre for Mental Health are accessed.

Beginning May 8 at 6:00 a.m., crosswalks and sidewalks near the College Drive and University/Hospital Drive intersection will be closed. Pedestrians and cyclists will need to detour to Munroe Avenue to cross College Drive. Saskatoon Transit buses will also be detoured off the University Bridge and College Drive.

Please allow extra time for travelling to and from these facilities. Access by vehicle to Hospital Drive and these facilities is only available via westbound College Drive.
Patients and families who have booked appointments at those facilities should be made aware of possible delays and plan alternate routes.

Inter-facility staff shuttles will be permitted to use the University Bridge, but traffic delays may still occur as traffic patterns change.

Updates and additional information can be found project page below or by subscribing to the Bus Rapid Transit newsletter.
