Reminder about eye protection and precautions (Droplet/Contact; D/C+)
the purple masks with attached mini-shield is not an option listed for precautious. They are intended for preventing blood and body fluid exposure (i.e. IV starts, collecting oral swabs etc.), and chemo. The full face shields are indicated for precautions.
(add pictures of each and also send to other staff/students).
Suction cannister set-ups - there have been a handful of set-ups leading to some pretty gross situations where the body fluids are going into the wrong space. Please make sure these are set-up correctly and if in doubt, phone a friend.
